Join Us at the West Chester Film Festival

Join us in Pennsylvania’s “perfect small town” for the 13th Annual West Chester Film Festival Friday, April 28 through Sunday, April 30. Our festival presents short films of all genres from around the world including several Oscar nominees and this year’s Academy Award Winner for Best Live Action Short Film! Over the festival weekend, more than 70 films—neatly packaged into two hour-long film blocks–will be screened at the brand new Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center, the Chester County Historical Society and Boxcar Brewpub during the West Chester Film Festival, the West Chester Family Film Festival, and our West Chester Young Filmmaker Film Festival.

Our festival launches with our Opening Night Party held at The Social, one of West Chester’s finest establishments known for its culinary treats and libations. Short film blocks follow the Opening Night Party and continue all weekend long, interrupted only by captivating filmmaking workshops and our social Meet& Greet for filmmakers and patrons at Sprout Music Collective. The grand finale of the festival is the Closing Night Awards Party at the Knauer Performing Arts Center where the coveted “Chester,” the West Chester Film Festival beloved Award, will be presented to the Best Animation, Art/Experimental, Drama, Documentary, Comedy, Student, PA Filmmaker, Female Filmmaker and to the H. Paul Fitzpatrick’s People’s Choice film. Tickets may be purchased online or throughout the Festival weekend at each venue.

You won’t want to miss this fabulous opportunity to experience BIG FILM in a small town! Catch dinner and a film block! Stroll the streets of West Chester, check out the art galleries and boutiques in town and return for more BIG FILM! We look forward to seeing you at the Festival!
